Our December movie at Arkport UMC is Joshua. It’s a story, based on the best-seller by Joseph Girzone, of a small town that’s turned upside-down by the arrival of a stranger. This man, Joshua is his name [note: "Jesus" is the greek version of the hebrew name "Joshua"], is a simple man who befriends many, and threatens others.
I’ve never seen the movie all the way through, just bits and pieces in church. I’m looking forward to seeing it. But, since I’m the impatient type at times, I’m reading the book. It’s great. I highly recommend it to anyone.
The movie Joshua will be shown at Arkport UMC on Saturday, December 6th, at 7:00pm. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
